Hallelujah Night Fun!!!!

Every year on Halloween our church, New Life Church, has Hallelujah Night at Covenant Ranch. It is kind of like a carnival with games, jumpy houses, 4-wheeler and horse rides, and a petting zoo. It is always a nice, peaceful, safe evening. And all the children in the community really seem to love it. Besides the concession stand, everything is FREE to everyone!

When we got there, the kids went running. I caught one or two glimpses of Dalton the whole night and I think I only saw Caitlyn when we got in the car to leave. Of course, Denim is a little young to just run around on her own, but she sure tried.

My whole family was there and Chad's mom, Sheryl, and Frank also came out. They brought our neice McKenna with them. She was dressed up like a Strawberry Fairy. Dalton and Caitlyn decided they were too old to dress up this year, but my princess Denim was the fairest of them all....Cinderella.
Enjoy all the pics...I also added in a few from our trip to the Pumpkin Patch.
Patti,Chad's aunt, since this adorable picture of her granddaughter McKayla.

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY BABY!!!!!

Happy Birthday Denim!!! We know you had a great time. We hear about it every day and we love every minute of it.

Denim was a little bit confused about her birthday being one day, taking cupcakes to school a different day, and having her party even on another day. But....I don't think she really minded because she was getting attention from everywhere.

Ready For Deer Season???

Chad and I and the kids left out of here Friday afternoon headed to the DeerLease. The lease is somewhere between Breckenridge and Graham. It should take about 3 hours, but I am pretty sure it took us about 5. Between a stop to eat, one to get parts for trailer, and a couple of potty breaks; the time adds up quickly. After week got there we had a great time, despite the fact that we should have driven a 4WD and not my Yukon. Along with the amazing chilly weather, came nothing but wet and muddy roads. So, we found are selves a little sad at having to drive my car through that stuff. It really wasn't that bad. We just had one little incident, butChad probably won't listen to his 12 year old again, though. Chad thought the weather was perfect for the season, but I found it a little too chilly. I survived though. I just bundled everyone up like we were going skiing or something and we played, worked, rested, and had a blast. Dalton was really excited: first about deer season fixing to start and then because I went along. As I was sitting by the fire, he walked off and whispered to his dad , "I think she's gettin use to this." Maybe I will go a little more this year?........or maybe not? I kind of like having the time with just me and the girls to do girl stuff. We'll see.

Ok, I have been receiving this Full Moon on a regular basis by email so I had to make sure I got everyone that took a look!!!!!

Happy Birthday Kennedy!!!

We just got home from Chuck E Cheese. My niece Kennedy is turning 8 this year and we had her party there tonight. She is sooo tall its hard not to think she is older than that. I even had to call my brother and double check. Happy Birthday Kennedy, We love you! Kennedy was born 10 days before our nephew Colt, so his birthday is on the 15th and our little Denim will turn 3 on the 22nd. For a year now she has been wanting to go to Chuck E Cheese for her birthday, but tonight she was so scared of him; I think she might change her mind. She fell asleep on the way home and when I put her in the bed she was saying, "I don't want to play here, I don't want to play here." and then a little later I heard her say, "No Chuck E Cheese." I really don't know that I want to let her go back for awhile, so I might try to change her mind to something else. I will have to think about it.

I know it has been quite a while since I have posted. We have been back in school for a month now and I still have settled in yet. Probably because we have been attacked from all angles lately. Dalton had a black eye, Caitlyn broke a bone in her hand, Dalton, Denim, and I have been battling sickness, and Chad got slapped with 2 fines and court costs for having a cat outside. Good news is....... we have finally decided that it STOPS NOW!!!!!! We have shut that open door and everything has to line up according to the word of GOD. He perfects that which concerns us!!
I missed out on posting our Labor Day weekend fun, so I wanted to catch you up. On Friday (4th) we headed to the coast for the weekend with my cousins Wesley, April, and their kids Logan and Victoria. We stayed in Kemah at what I would say.. a luxury RV Resort on the bay. We had gorgeous weather the whole time. Friday night, after a nice supper at Joe's Crab Shack on the Kemah Boardwalk, we headed to the Galveston Seawall and walked along the beach and chased crabs. On Saturday we decided to hang out at the Boardwalk for awhile. It is really neat. It remind me of the movies when they show Coney Island. A huge amusement park on the bay and tons of restaurants. We got to ride an awesome speed boat that sat close to 40 people. It was fast, wet, and fun. We spent the rest of the day at the beach. Then on Sunday we returned to the beach with food and stuff to spend the day. We met up with my friend Jodie Brookshire and another family and let all the kids play on the beach together. Of course, we did fit in riding family bicycles, the ferry, and buying souvenirs. We had sooooo much fun. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Monday morning we headed out at 5:30 so that we could be back at my Mom and Dad's by 11:00. We had some family friends over. Dennis and Vicki Burke, their daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Isaiah, and the grandbabies Jude and Rhema were all there all day playing, talking, eating, swimming, and 4-wheeling. I would say that everyone really had a blast.

As I am sitting here typing, Denim is singing Rain, Rain, Go Away. I am getting a little bored with the rain, but I am sure enjoying the cooler weather. It makes me ready for Fall, The Holidays, and then Spring Break. You'll notice I changed the slide show to ski trip pictures. We are planning our Spring Break trip and I am getting a little excited.

Love you all.

A Week of Variety!!!

To start a long week, last Sunday morning; we sent Dalton and Caitlyn off to Dry Gulch for
church Camp. They were gone for 5 days and they had a great time. I think it was the best trip Dalton ever had. Of course, it is his last one. He will be too old next year (HOW SAD)! They both took cameras, but Dalton didn't take pictures and I'm not sure we know where Caitlyn's is. If we find it, I'll posts some pics.

While they were gone; Chad, Denim, and I stayed at my parents. They were out of town for the week also. It was kinda like a little vacation for us. Wednesday morning we took Denim to Monty and Jennifer's. Chad and I headed to Ft.Worth for the Kenneth Copeland Believer's Convention. We were able to sit in services all day with my parents, stay the night, and the spend some time in service on Thursday. It was so great. We got to soak up 5 Life changing, annointed services: Gloria Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Jesse Duplantis, Creflo again, and Jesse again. We had the best time.

My cousin Robbie also got to be there (all week). We went and had lunch with him and Charlene on Thursday. It was wonderful. God has done a miracle in his life and it was so good to spend some time with him. WE LOVE YOU!!! and WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU AND FOR YOU!!!!!

We got back home on Thursday, just in time to pick up the kids. We were all soooo glad to see them. 5 Days is a long time.

On Friday Caitlyn and I headed to Six Flags. We had already been once this year as a family, but this was a girl's trip. It was one of Caitlyn's friend's birthday. So Her mom, aunt, and myself took a handful of girls. It was so much fun for everyone. I haven't ran the park like that in over 20 years. We started at one end riding and didn't leave to we hit every BIG ride. Finally, Caitlyn is tall enough for all the good ones. IT WAS A BLAST!!!!

Saturday we headed to the lake for a birthday day party and spent some time on the water. Happy Birthday McKayla!!!!
Joey and Christi also got home on Saturday from DisneyWorld. We went out last night to see them and hear about the trip. I can't wait until we all go back! Just a Year! It will go fast!!!
Well, have a BLESSED WEEK and TRUST GOD!!!!!

Fun Rainy Week!!

Even though it has rained a bit in the last week; we have still had our fun. The kids probably would tell you that they don't like the rainy days because I usually try to get the house clean, but this time they did get some time to play. They played in the rain, played dress-up, and played the Wii. We were also trying to get Dalton and Caitlyn ready to go to Dry Gulch for church camp. They left this morning.....that is the main reason I am getting some blogging done.
We did get some dry time to get to the Ranger's Game Friday night, but as you might have heard, the game was delayed over an hour and a half because of rain. That really just added to the fun. We were sitting on the all-you-can-eat patio, so we were covered from the rain and had all the nachos, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, peanuts, popcorn, and drinks we could eat. We had a great time and I snagged a couple of pics of good ole #10 (Michael Young).

Joey and Christi left Saturday morning for Disney World and boy have we all been sad that we didn't go with them. Chad wanted to take off driving Saturday night. Of course it doesn't help getting pictures from them... No just kidding, we all wanted to see. Our next planned trip is October 2010, but I don't know if we can wait that long. I have been throwing hints about trying DisneyLand out for Christmas, but I don't know if we will get it done. So we have been going through all the old pictures and dreaming. It is such a magical place. I could just stay there. I put my favorites into the slide show, so check them out. Yes, there is alot.
