Well...We are home from an amazing Ski Vacation. One of the funnest ever. There were 16 of us that went together: the 5 of us, my parents, Monty & Jennifer & kids, and Wesley & April & kids. There were also others there we got to ski with some: Cindy (April's mom) & Glenn and Cory & Keri Summers & kids. That just added to the fun. But.....there was a part of the family that didn't go this year and WE REALLY MISSED YALL!!! THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT YEAR!!!
We traveled on Saturday, skied on Sunday,Monday, and Tuesday, then headed home on Wednesday. A little too short for me. I think I needed one more day this year. That might have something to do with the fact that it snowed ALL day Sunday and I don't really enjoy skiing on those type of days. Now...Monday and Tuesday were awesome!!! In fact, people were skiing in shorts and most of us are sunburned. THAT IS THE WAY I LIKE IT!!!!
Dalton and Caitlyn and the rest of the kids ran the mountain like it was their backyard. Chad and I didn't even get to see them that much, but they had a blast. Ski Cooper is such a nice, small place that there is no worries about letting them go off on their own. Denim actually got to get out of the daycare and ski a little bit this year. She had private lessons on the first 2 days and then skied a run with us on Tuesday. It is amazing how much she learned in a short period of time.
We did have 1 person have to ride down in the Ski Patrol sleigh, but I will let her tell everyone. The last run of the last day is always questionable!
We are glad to be home and hope to see some of you soon. Enjoy the pictures. I am adding an album with more pictures to Facebook, so check it out too.

Basketball Comes to an End!
I forgot to put up some basketball pics. We had a full weekend of it. Caitlyn's team struggled a little bit this year. It is hard to compete when you have 7 players and the other teams have another team sitting on the bench (even the other Caddo team had almost twice as many as we did). Is that what we call fair in this town? Anyway....They lost their very first tournament game Friday night. That's ok! They played hard all season and we are very proud of them. Dalton's team did great! They won their first tournament game, but then lost their second. They are a great team and going to be even better playing school sports. I can't wait! I would have liked to see both teams keep winning, but we wouldn't have been here next week for the championship anyway. We are Colorado bound!
Now on to some baseball and softball. .. FUN FUN FUN!!!!

Playing at the Park
Denim and I had some time at the park last week while Caitlyn was at a birthday party. It was so nice and beautiful. We ran through and got us some ice cream and then played in the sun. I love having all the kids together, but it sure is nice to spend some one-on-one time with them sometimes too. I got a couple of really good pics while we played. Enjoy!!

More Fun in the Snow!!
I just thought we got a bunch of snow yesterday. What we woke to today was amazing. I don't remember ever seeing this much snow in Texas. It was beautiful. We played a while and rode around to admire the scenery. I didn't even get to work on our snowman because he was sooo covered up.
Now, this kind of snow is worth making up the bad weather day! I am so happy we all got to be home to enjoy it together.

We Love The Snow!!!!!!!
What a great day! Yes, I was at work, but it sure was nice to sit and watch the beautiful snow fall. Then, when I got home, the real fun began. I had asked Chad not to let the kids out until I got home. I didn't want to miss a thing.
We played and played and then built our snowman. I think we need to add a few more touches tomorrow. We were getting hungry. Mom cook chili tonight, so we all headed out there. Fed all the kids and then back out in the snow and finished the night off with some snow ice cream. AMAZING!!! FUN FUN FUN!!!
Now, let's just see about school tomorrow. Caddo has already cancelled, but Greenville is still holding out with a 2 hour delay. At least we can all sleep in! ****Nevermind...As I was adding my pics, I received the phone call. No school tomorrow in Greenville either.****

Basketball! Basketball!
Yes, it is that time year and it is great! I just love watching my kids play. It is so neat to see both of them develop in their skills at their own rate. And OMG-their personalities are so different on the court. My aggressive child at home (Caitlyn) is a little shy on the court; and my slightly calmer son is a animal on the court.
I LOVE IT~!!
They have both played two games. They each lost one and won one. Now we are ready to win again tomorrow. Caitlyn plays in Royse City at 1:00 and Dalton plays in Caddo at 2:00. Going to have to do some juggling for those game times.
