BAD BLOGGER

Yes! I have been an awful blogger lately. I just realized I had pictures on my sd card from Denim's birthday, which was in October. I feel sooo guilty for not getting some up right away. Sooo, I guess I have to make up for it. She had alot of fun with Chuck E Cheese. She wasn't scared at all this year. It was really great.

We have had soo much going on. In October we had Denim's 4th Birthday, and then finished out with our Halloween festivities: Hallelujah Night @ Covenant Ranch and then Trick-or-Treating around Caddo. I got lots of adorable pictures, but you will have to check my facebook to see most of them. Too many for my blog.

Our November has consisted of finishing up football and kicking off basketball. Along with catching a few High School Rodeos. My nephew, Paden, he just started the rodeo circuit this year and is really doing great! Our other nephew, Luke, had to have brain surgery due to a head injury he received back in September. He is doing good, but is still recovering. Please continue to pray for a quick and full recovery. We know he is healed, whole and well, but now to recover. And boy it is hard to tell a 6 year old to slow down and rest.

Well, we are now coming into an amazing time of the year Christmas. I just love it and get sooo excited. I promise to post some between now and the New Year.   Have a Peaceful, stress-free season!

Loving This Fall Weather

Well, just as I was hoping Fall came in with a cool down and isn't it awesome. I just love the cool mornings and evening and warm days. It is just about perfect. It has given all of us a little push to get out and enjoy being together.

Last weekend we were able to just be really lazy and hang out at home most of the time. Until Sunday that is. We got up, went to church, and a family meal with my parents as normal. That afternoon we took a short trip to the playground. The kids ran and played and then later we tried our hardest to fly kites. The breeze wasnt quite strong enough to keep it up. We all still had a great time.

This past weekend was a working weekend. We got the outside exceptionally clean. We started with two storage rooms and a one car garage that were not functional. We tore one storage room down and did some throwing away and Tadaaaa! We now have one functional storage room and a two car garage. So now, you will actually have to pull in our driveway to see if we are home instead of driving by. But my goodness, it sure looks 100% better. Next week the inside!!! THROW IT ALL AWAY OR FIND A NICE PLACE! No more clutter in those closets!!

Man They're Growing Up Way Too Fast!!

Yes, they are. I don't know where the time goes. Dalton and Caitlyn are both now in Middle School and they had a school dance last night. This was Caitlyn's first one and it was so much fun for both of us. It started last week when we went dress shopping, but the real fun was getting her all ready. We went and let Julie roll her hair because Mommy is just not very good at that. It always ends up real curly or flat. I might as well have done it myself though. By the time we got her to the school; the humidity had done a job on the spiral curls and it was pretty much flat. She still looked beautiful and no one else could really tell. When we got to the make-up, she was sooo excited that I was letting her wear some. That is not a normal thing, even though she begs all the time. Just because all of your friends wear make-up at 11 years old, doesnt mean you are going to. Plus, she doesnt even need it. Anyway...that is always my arguement.

Back to the dance. Chad decided to borrow a Limo from a friend and he, Joey, Luke, and Denim went around and picked up 9 middle schoolers and piled them all in. All of us moms met at the school to get pictures. The kids had a blast. They thought they were the coolest, even though the drivers were hiding from all the cameras and people. Well, seems like they all had a great time and I think all the parents did too.

I just Love my 3 babies and I can't believe how quick they grow up. I think they are all 3 just gorgeous if I do say so myself.

And Fall Blows In??

Could it, could it be that the 1st day of Fall is going to bring some cooler weather with it? I sure hope so! Even though we have had tons of fun this summer; I am sooo ready for some nice Fall weather.
As you may have read, my computer was in the shop for a long time and I haven't been able to blog like I wanted to. So...I wanted to share a brief glimpse of our Summer fun.

We pretty much spent all of the Summer holiday weekends at the lake with Chad's family. We all love being in the boats and on the water. It is always really a great time!

On July 4th and Labor Day we came back to Caddo to be with my family for cookouts and fireworks. For Labor Day, however; we had very special friends to join us. Dennis & Vikki Burke, their daughter and son-in-law Isaiah and Jessica Shook, and their kiddos Jude and Rhema. It was really a blast!

My Mom turned 60 on July 18th and we tried to surprise her with a Birthday Party at the church. The party turned out great, but I'm not for sure will pulled the surprise off. MOMMA KNOWS EVERYTHING!!!

On the Monday following Mom's party, we got up really, really early and headed to Port Aransas to meet Chad's Mom and Frank for a week at the beach. We had a great time eating, boating, swimming, and beach combng on St. Jo's island and others. We finished are week out with a night in San Antonio on the Riverwalk. We decided not to walk that long adventure, instead by took a boat ride. The kids thought the whole place was awesome. We hadn't been since Caitlyn was about 5, so Denim wasn't even around for that. Lots of memories made for all of us during this week. Especially the one of being stung by jellyfish. Chad was the only one the didnt get that experience.

The rest of our summer was filled with swimming, tanning, dirt bike riding, and just hanging out with friends and family! Just the way we like it.

I KNOW, I KNOW!

I know it's not Fall yet, but hey....school has started sooo, feels like Fall to me (in spirit that is). I know....it is still way tooo hot out there too, but I am ready for some football. I am sooo excited that Dalton gets to play school ball this year. Can not wait for the first game. Practices must be really hard. Every day this week except for Thursday; Dalton has come, took a shower, ate, and went to bed. Im sure next week will be better as he gets use to the workouts.

Still no computer...So my pictures are limited, but here is a glimpse of our summer.

Love you all!

Oh How I Love Summer

Yes!! I definitely love Summer. We enjoy sleeping late, having the time to keep the house clean, swimming, and watching everyone play. No time limits and plenty of stay home days. We also have lots of fun stuff going on at church this Summer. It is just a well blended fun fest! CANT WAIT FOR OUR VACATION!! Just wish we could decide what to do exactly. We have penciled in some plans, but nothing detailed yet. But I sure enjoy searching for stuff online too. It is kind of addicting. I have added a few pics from our fun so far.

Tomorrow, all 5 of us are going to see Toy Story 3. We are all sooo excited!!!  Brings back alot of memories. When the original Toy Story came out Dalton absolutely loved it. Anything we saw that was Toy Story, he had to have it. Stuffed animals, games, and action figures. He was even Woody for Halloween two years in a roll. The first year he was just Woody, the second year we added Bullseye. He was so cute. He even pushed his love over on Caitlyn when he came home with a stuffed Jessie and gave it to her.

Our all time #1 Buzz fan was our nephew Colt. Oh my goodness. Wasn't just Buzz for Halloween; he wore his Buzz suit all the time I can't see Buzz Lightyear without thinking of Colt and I am soo glad we have those wonderful memories of him. LOL  Even seeing a jet stream in the sky turns my mind on Colt. Because you know Buzz Lightyear makes those. We love and miss you Colt!!

Okay..I'll stop! Enjoy the Pictures. Love you All
