YES!! IT'S THE WEEKEND!!!!

Well, Chad is gone to the deer lease tonight; so the kids and I our hanging out around the house. The t.v. is on Disney and I am on the computer. We are just spending the night relaxing. Which, this may change tomorrow.

They are really wanting to get the house decorated for Christmas. We haven't even got to Thanksgiving yet. The kids heard me counting how much time we have and how many weekends we are going to be busy or gone. I may have to let them win this one. If I am going to get the house decorated and what little shopping I am doing this year done by the time Christmas break starts; then I might need to do it tomorrow.

This week has been a long, hard one at school and home. I am really glad it is over. It can only get better and I won't accept anything less. "The Lord perfects that which concerns me."Psalms 138:8

We did get in a little fun this week. Tuesday night Caitlyn had a program at school, "Spotlight on Texas." It was really cute. Of course, she got to sing a bunch of songs, but she also got to line dance. She really loved it and she looked just B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!! Thursday I had a PTA program at school and my class performed the play "The First Thanksgiving." It was adorable and holiday programs always seem to get you the festive mood.

I also got the kids all signed up for basketball. YEAH!!! We all just love it. It is so fun to watch them play, even if I get a little over excited or..upset may be a better word. It's really hard to sit on the sidelines and watch when you have a coaches heart. My life is just a little too full right now, especially with a 3 year old, to step up for that. I'm getting ready though.

I guess I need to wind down. Just remember...You are forgiven and you are loved.

Hallelujah Night Fun!!!!

Every year on Halloween our church, New Life Church, has Hallelujah Night at Covenant Ranch. It is kind of like a carnival with games, jumpy houses, 4-wheeler and horse rides, and a petting zoo. It is always a nice, peaceful, safe evening. And all the children in the community really seem to love it. Besides the concession stand, everything is FREE to everyone!

When we got there, the kids went running. I caught one or two glimpses of Dalton the whole night and I think I only saw Caitlyn when we got in the car to leave. Of course, Denim is a little young to just run around on her own, but she sure tried.

My whole family was there and Chad's mom, Sheryl, and Frank also came out. They brought our neice McKenna with them. She was dressed up like a Strawberry Fairy. Dalton and Caitlyn decided they were too old to dress up this year, but my princess Denim was the fairest of them all....Cinderella.
Enjoy all the pics...I also added in a few from our trip to the Pumpkin Patch.
Patti,Chad's aunt, since this adorable picture of her granddaughter McKayla.
