Happy Easter!

I know I am a little late posting about our Easter weekend, but we have been extremely busy. Every night someone has ball practice, ballgames, or tumble. I usually can't get any posting done until I put them in bed and that has gotten real late lately. This year the kids have both moved into ages groups that play late (7:00 or 7:45). Dalton plays a 2 hour time limit and Caitlyn plays for 1 hr. 15 minutes. Most games aren't over until after nine, but this rain as brought us a nice relaxing weekend.

We had a fun, peaceful Easter this year. It started Saturday morning with the church Easter Egg Hunt at the Ranch. The kids always really enjoy going. Even Dalton got involved. All he talked about all week, was that he thought he was too old to hunt eggs this year. I guess that changed when we got there and all his friends were hunting eggs. Caitlyn never thinks about her age or any other excuses. She is just going to do anything to have fun. Of course, Denim had a ball and she had to look "Cool." For some reason that day she was attached to her sunglasses, but she looked adorable.

Later, that afternoon I got the kids all slicked up and we went to Granny's for Easter. She cooked a ham and we took the veggies. We had a wonderful evening. The kids hunted eggs in the backyard and Chad got to help his Granny get some stuff done around the house. She is recovering great from her knee replacement, but she is still a little restricted. We sat around and talked while the kids played. I hate that I didn't think about it as much in the past, but it means so much to me to spend time with Chad grandparents. All of our grandparents on my side have gone to Heaven and I want to do everything I can to make the ones we have left know how much We Love Them!

On Resurrection (Easter) Sunday, we, of course, went to church. Jesus Christ (our Daddy) and what he did for us; is what it is all really about anyway. Right? We had our yearly children's Easter Parade. It is so great to see all the children dressed up and smiling to celebrate our Saviour. The love and faith of a child can teach you forever.

After church, we had lunch with my family. Almost the whole group made it: My parents, my brother and his family, my aunt Colleen, my cousin Kathy and her family, my cousin Kevin and his family, and us. The meal was fantastic as it always is. For the Easter egg hunt, since it was still wet, the eggs were all hidden in the shop. It made for an unusually fun time and the kids loved cracking confetti eggs over everyone heads.

Despite some family members missing for the weekend, our Easter turned out to be one of the best. I think they get better every year. Hope you all had as good of a time as we did. Check out all the pics. Love you All.
